Details for Submissions:

• Send us your first name, last initial (or full last name), and city, state, country of residence.
• Please send one photo of a place that brings you sanctuary (respite, peace, introspection, recharge, etc.)
• The photo can include YOU surrounded by your sanctuary (e.g. lounging at the beach), doing the activity that brings you sanctuary (e.g. yoga pose), or just a photo of the environment that brings you sanctuary.
• In one to three sentences, please describe your "sanctuary."
• Photos and descriptions should be sent via email to THE EDITORS.

What do we plan to do with the photos?

We've been asking women whom we've interviewed as well as readers where they find sanctuary for ten years now.
So the editors decided to create a photo montage for everyone to view online. This will be published at the end of 2026.
