"My absolute dream job would be an auteur – both writing and directing films. I would love to collaborate with other great writers to create wacky and wonderful scripts. Then, I’d love to form these scripts into beautiful, diverse films, exploring both directing and editing. I want to astonish people. I want to take my audience out of their comfort zones and subtly startle them. I aspire to be as mind-bending as Lynch and as intelligent as Kubrick – yet be my own person entirely." |

"I would like to manage my own art center. I got started in a public, Tuesday morning art class, and I would love to be able to provide that opportunity for other aspiring artists. My dream building would include a figure drawing studio and one or two other studio/classroom spaces open to the public. I would also want to provide a gallery space, an arts library, and private studios available to rent. Ideally, the center would host classes, open figure drawing, visiting lecturers and critics, art shows, contests, and other events that would serve both artists and the community at large." |

Cellist If a genie granted your wish to find what you consider to be a dream job - a perfect career in every way - what would that be?
"My dream job is to teach elementary school orchestra and group lessons. I’d love to build up an orchestra program that reaches a diverse student body and provides high-quality, engaging and fun music education. In a dream world, I would have endless resources to accomplish this, which would be used for school instruments, sheet music, field trips, classroom needs such as chairs and stands, and so on! I would also have supportive and collaborative coworkers, and the program would be fully supported through the administration, which would value music for the meaningful experiences it brings to children’s lives - the educational, social, emotional and developmental benefits it provides as well as the pure fun of it! Additionally, I’d love to play in a local, community orchestra and continue to teach private cello lessons." |

If a genie granted your wish to find what you consider to be a dream job - a perfect career in every way - what would that be?
"My dream job would be one where I can travel all over the world sharing my art, heart and stories with children who are facing serious health challenges. This job would allow me to be an advocate for these children while teaching them tools to navigate their circumstances as the heroes of their personal stories. I want to help them find their voice and their strength. I want a job where I see real results - more funding for childhood cancer as well as finding ways to overcome the stigma surrounding terminal diagnoses." |
