At this point in time...what do you believe makes your art unique?
What I believe makes me unique is my ability to understand my clients’ wants and to bring their vision to life. I am versatile, working in multiple mediums, so I have more freedom in finding the best option for someone’s vision (or my own). Getting to know my clients through art is an amazing process. It warms my heart to be able to give a client something that they will have forever - whether it adorns the body or hangs in the home. |

I didn't start this series with the idea of sharing it with the world; however, once the first book was down on paper, it demanded to be uncaged. The Fire & Ice book series is often regarded as "girl power" fiction - the protagonists are young women, but this has never excluded male readers from the international fan base. While the series takes place in a realm of medieval Celtic fantasy, the overall plot stems from real-life situations that relate to contemporary readers on a personal level. These books capture the importance of the human spirit, individuality, and the journeys we take to find ourselves. |
At this point in time...what do you believe makes your art unique?
I put myself into what I create. I don’t just paint a picture of something random or make a traditional, everyday film; instead, I’ll create something that reflects some aspect of who I am and/or what I stand for. Doing this always produces original and unique results, and my ability to connect with others through my works has gotten stronger. I can reach people on a more personal level, too. |

I am still trying to find my style with my photography, while working through all the chinks. In the meantime, I am trying new and different ways to shoot anything that catches my eye. I do like the organic, raw, untouched photos of everyday life, though. I like to capture the reality of things in all its messiness! |

Dancer (New Jersey) Photo Credit: Jennifer Archibald - Arch Dance Co. Courtesy of: Kristina Zaidner Photography At this point in time...what do you believe makes your art unique?
My art is unique because no one else has the same mindset, background, experiences and energy that I possess. My mind, body, and soul are distinct. No one else has lived my life and felt my emotions. They do not have those details for inspiration. It’s also my perspective. I approach everything in an organized, logical way which is seen in the simplicity and organic characteristics of my dancing. My style portrays my composed but sporadically humorous personality. I like to move fluidly while incorporating sudden explosions or suspensions. I really enjoy moving around the floor and feeling the contact between the floor and every different part of my body. I am very responsive to tactile stimuli which can make my movement very focused and purposeful. |

Owner of Accessadoor What is unique about your business as compared to similar businesses in your targeted market?
There seems to be an overall lack of innovation in the assistive technology market. Our product is bringing a fifty-year-old piece of technology into the new millennial – a commonsense idea with contemporary technology. Smartphones have become a necessity for the majority of the population, so enabling handicap door openers to be triggered by an app is something that will increase independence for millions who face physical challenges. This type of approach is only being attempted by one other company which highlights the lack of creativity in this market segment. The benefit of ours is that it can be installed in less than five minutes, instantly increasing accessibility without the need for major and costly infrastructure changes. |
