Submission Information
Calling all illustrators (amateurs and professionals welcome) to send in submissions for the following:
The Sanctuary team is searching for a mascot, an educated, sassy, curious, fun, active, rebellious, independent, savvy, mischievous...CARTOON! The mascot will appear throughout the magazine in surprising places (tidbits, sidebars, fact sheets, hide-and-seek prompts, etc.) that readers will begin to recognize and interact with. The winner will receive: ~ an exclusive interview in Sanctuary ~ inclusion as a member of our Team (team page, virtual chat, social media shout-outs) ~ a gift from Sanctuary Details will be sent to those who are interested. |
SUBMISSIONS: Readers may submit original work for our BLANK CANVAS section (i.e. photography, fine art, poetry, essays, play excerpts, or music lyrics).
Please send a short bio, website link, social media page links and a sample or two of your work. Photos: high-resolution, (300 ppi or higher) digital images. Writing: First-person essays about relationships, experiences, travel, etc. (Word count: 600 to 850). Poetry, play excerpts, and musical lyrics (with audio) are also accepted. Please inquire. * If your work is chosen to be featured, your page will be linked from the HOME page and your work will be linked in our monthly newsletter. INTERVIEWS: We conduct interviews with women who have made an extraordinary difference in their communities. Do you know a dedicated humanitarian, entrepreneur or volunteer?
