CINDY ARCHBELL
Virginia photographer, Cindy Archbell, has been taking photographs since she was a young girl. Her infrared photography exudes a surreal dimension, and her composition is unique. However, it is her manipulation of color that truly draws the viewer in.
She says, "I became interested in photography as a youngster. I remember taking my mom's "Brownie" on field trips when I was in the 5th grade. I received my first camera for Christmas - a Polaroid! As an adult, I used a Yashica film 35 mm camera. I now strictly shoot digital. I love nature photography, landscapes, wildlife, and I love color! I also shoot in the infrared spectrum which allows the naked eye to see light above the visible spectrum. My photography allows me to share how I see of our beautiful world. Photography also feeds my soul and gives me inner peace."
