Grief Is...

Lonnie was blessed to have, not only a wonderful mom, but a best friend and confidant. Even though they drove each other crazy, they always knew they would be there for each other at any given moment. Her mother's battle with cancer sent her on a journey of growth and discovery. She realized the depth of her grief was an accurate representation of the depth of her love, and in the end, that love was an absolute blessing! Join her as she shares poignant quotes with beautiful pictures in the hopes of helping you "heal and deal" through your own journey with grief.
Lonnie writes, “Watching my mother battle cancer, and eventually lose, was the absolute most horrific time of my life! The grief I felt disabled me emotionally as well as physically. It wasn’t until I went to talk to a grief counselor that the physical pain retreated, but the emotional roller coaster seemed to be here to stay…Grief will eventually influence all of us at some point, but my hope is that this book will help you to heal and deal and create an understanding of what grief actually is: THE MEASURE OF YOUR LOVE!”
Poem:
Grief is a belief that there is an end,
but to share some relief, it’s not my friend!
Rest assured and time will tell,
there’s more to life than heaven and hell.
So make your loved ones happy and be,
their proudest living legacy!
