The Diary of a TreeHugger
Hannah says, "These photographs document a spiritual journey through nature. An educator at my school told me a story. It was about a woman who was having troubles. He recommended that she hug a tree (for at least a minute). She scoffed at the idea, but the next day, she called him and said, 'I hugged a tree and it changed my life.' After hearing this story, I hugged a tree and, indeed, it changed my life. When I hug a tree, I identify it, photograph it, and record my thoughts and observations about the tree. This collection is a mere sample of the enchantment of trees and the healing abilities of nature.."
