Lisa Roman
Former Marketing Advisor
LISA has spent the last twenty-five years as a corporate marketing executive in the luxury goods sector, focusing on messaging and branding strategies. She has worked with highly visible jewelry brands, including Tiffany, Robert Lee Morris, and Breitling, and has recently transitioned to the nonprofit world via an education from the University of Connecticut, Encore, NonProfit Leadership Program. Her skills in collaboration, communication, presentation, and preparation have manifested themselves in her various influential roles: Director of Consumer Information (Jewelers of America), Director of Sales Administration (Tiffany & Co.), Vice President of Sales and Marketing (Robert Lee Morris), and Marketing Director (Breitling).
After leaving the corporate world, Lisa went back to school in search of ways to channel her skills to help promote purposeful causes that affect the world on a larger scale.
Some of her key nonprofit sponsorships and partnerships include the Boomer Esiason Foundation, Angel and Honor Flights, Els for Autism, Fidelco Guide Dogs, and other
organizations working toward improving the lives of those facing unique life challenges.
Lisa loves animals, especially her dogs Ken and Winnie — both rescues. She also has a soft spot for sports, whether it be her children’s involvement, the Special Olympics, or her own pastimes: paddle tennis, skydiving, wing walking, you name it. Surely, Lisa’s sense of openness and adventure play a key role in her marketing style.
Statement: As the world becomes smaller and all the media platforms bombard you with news and information 24/7, I was intrigued with the concept of a place to escape all of this and discover what matters to me and my personal growth. Sanctuary offers women a community where they can learn and be inspired by the lives of others who have found their peace and passion. It is not static - but dynamic - as it encourages open discussion and the exchange of ideas and stories to stimulate exploration and lifelong learning.
