Reader responses...
After our March issue went "live," the Coronavirus pandemic got much worse, and many folks began working from home or had to begin to follow sudden directives that caused culture shock in the workforce and beyond. We asked readers to send comments in about this change.
"Giving ourselves grace to know there is no “right” or “wrong” - we are figuring it all out. One day at a time - no judgement." ~ Michelle (NY)
Responses prior to March 19...which are also applicable during this difficult time.
"I grew up learning about my family business from my mom and dad. My parents did not give back to the community; but after using Hospice with my dad, I started to donate to charities. I learned about the Grace Smith House and donated to them also. Today, I enjoy being able to give to different charities, and my mom is thrilled that the company is able to do that. I know my dad and my sister are looking down and doing their own happy dance when we attend some of these events. Being able to help others whenever I can makes me dance and puts a smile on my face." ~ Heather Cimorelli, Owner of M&O Sanitation (NY)
"Making a difference in the lives of the elderly, especially during this unstable pandemic." ~ Lori, RN (FL)
"Interviewing amazing women artists, humanitarians and community leaders whose work inspires others." ~ Myrna Haskell (NY)
