Kendall Kessler

Kendall Kessler is an award-winning professional artist and former assistant professor of art at Radford University in VA. Her paintings and prints have been seen throughout the U.S. in national, international and local shows, including two group shows on Broadway.
Kendall primarily creates large impasto oil paintings (technique where paint is thick and brush strokes are visible), but she also works in pastels and has won national and international awards in both mediums, including awards from Dorothy Gillespie, May Stevens, Frank Webb and Daniel Greene. Her original paintings and prints are included in private collections in twenty-six states, Washington D.C., Canada, Germany, England, Switzerland, Russia and Australia. Kendall’s best-selling print, "Reaching Out," was chosen out of over three million works of art on Fine Art America to be on the set of the sitcom, The Mindy Project (FOX), which aired September 25, 2012. |
Her “Morning Stroll” at Isle of Palms appeared on the cover of the 2015 fall edition of The Inflectionist (a British publication).
